Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a new Admissions Coordinator (within the Student Recruitment team) to join the CEG Digital division, part of the Cambridge Education Group. The role is internally known as Student Recruitment Admissions Coordinator.
The role is a maternity cover and available either as:
- full-time, fixed-term contract (12 months)
- part-time (minimum of 4 days a week), fixed-term contract for 12 months.
The location can be in Cambridge or Homebased in United Kingdom. The post holder will be required to travel to London at least one day per week to work with the team at the partnered university (QMUL (Queen Mary University London) as agreed in advance with your manager.
Overview:
The Student Recruitment Admissions Coordinator will sit within the recruitment team, working closely with the partner university’s admissions department. They will be responsible for submitting applications and monitoring the admissions process, including turnaround times and conversion rates. They will play a crucial role supporting the student recruitment team to meet targets.
There will be required strong written and oral communication skills (fluent in English) as the post holder will be liaising with the university admissions team from the point of application through to enrolment (through all forms of communication).
This is a true administration role, with a data focus, designed to support the Sales team by facilitating the student application process. The main duties of the role will be reviewing documents submitted by students, escalating any concerns where appropriate, and ensuring applications are submitted within a timely manner.
The role is fast paced, and requires strong organisation skills to ensure the administrative side of the process is completed accurately and within the set timescales. Confidence with basic data is important also, as regular reporting is a key part of this role. As this role works with our University Partner, you are asked to attend the London campus once a week so that you are working closely with the in house team you support, and the partner team.
